Meet Kaelie

Postcard Getaway’s editor Kaelie is a seasoned travel writer and spent one year living in Taipei, Taiwan as a Fulbright ETA.

She thoroughly documented her experiences as a Fulbrighter on Postcard Getaway and has offered numerous travel guides and application tips for those looking to embark on similar journeys.

Before starting Postcard Getaway, Kaelie published work for Gonomad, In the Know Traveler, 52 Perfect Days, and Journey Woman. She loves for sharing her stories and learning more about the world through experience.

In addition to a full year spent traveling Asia, Kaelie’s background as a Boston native has given her ample time to explore the east coast of the United States.

During her college study abroad experience in Oxford, England, she had the opportunity to visit many countries in Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland.

In addition to her passions for writing and travel, Kaelie is a dedicated teacher. She is currently teaching in London.
